Our dad was someone special, this much we always knew. There was no doubt he loved us and we all know it's true. Many times we were apart and many times we cried. But dad would always comfort us, we know how hard he tried. He was meek and gentle, his heart was made of gold. For us he would do anything with all his heart and soul. He was taken way too early, we weren't ready to let go. As our hearts are layed wide open, the pain begins to grow. All that's left are memories of times we can't reclaim. And the stillness of a picture frozen timeless in its frame. We miss our dad, he was the best, he has been from the start. And forever now we'll keep him with us, right here in our heart.
